Our Story
Camp Ken-Jockety sits along the banks of the Scioto River in Galloway, Ohio — a place where the trees grow tall and the nights go quiet. What began as a simple gathering spot has grown into a beloved destination for families, scout troops, church groups, and anyone who values time away from the screen.
We don't offer room service or a front desk. What we offer is something rarer: space. Space to build a fire, to fish, to walk without an end goal, to sleep with the windows open and hear the river in the background.
What We Offer
Our amenities are simple by design — so you can focus on what matters.
Multiple cabins and dorm-style sleeping arrangements accommodate families, scout troops, and group retreats of all sizes.
Direct access to the Scioto River for fishing, wading, and quiet moments at the water's edge. A natural swimming area is available in summer.
Our stone fire pit is the heart of the camp. Gather around for s'mores, storytelling, or simply the sound of crackling wood under a sky full of stars.
A full kitchen with grilling station, refrigeration, and cooking supplies. Bring your own provisions or coordinate a group meal together.
Over 160 acres of wooded trails wind through the property. Birdwatching, foraging, and long walks without an endpoint are part of the experience.
Board games, cards, volleyball, and a large communal table for group activities. The kind of place where boredom simply isn't an option.
The Experience
Our cabins are simple, clean, and built for comfort. Each one sleeps a range of guests — from couples seeking a quiet weekend to large families and groups looking for a shared adventure.
There's no Wi-Fi. There's no TV. There is, however, a wood-burning stove in the main lodge, a well-stocked kitchen, and a river that hums all night long.
